The tale of 'Gossip Girl' has made us experience diverse aspects of the gentry neighborhood. It revolves around the privileged youngsters at an elite private school in New York City's Upper Eastside. It focuses on the lives and romantic relationships of the 10 main characters. Amidst these characters are the 5 essential protagonists: Blair Waldorf, Serena van der Woodsen, Dan Humphrey, Nate Archibald, and Chuck Bass. The central characters' charisma and approach towards their conflicts left the viewers astonished. Some fans believe that the message portrayed by the show was about "friendship and relationships over the years," whereas some feel that it clearly shows how "people will talk behind your back no matter what you do", so you might as well follow your heart. Also, it shows you how much influence social media has on everyone's life. "The others say that they showed the importance of confidence and being kind to others and that "being rich does not mean you have it easy", doesn't it though? Who wouldn't want the biggest problem in their life to be a Sophie's-Choice-dilemma between marrying a Prince or marrying a billionaire?
The sequel has made many strong connections with its audience. People empathized with acceptance, agony, selflessness, and many other aspects of it. You might be wondering, "What is so special about this show?" Well, even though it is just another chick flick, it has influenced a lot of people. The significance of being cautious, understanding others and everyone's flaws, and the bond between the characters, has impacted the fans a lot. The authenticity of the character development is one of the main reasons why the show is so special. Just as the show came to an end, it had a teaser that hinted at a reboot (exciting, right?). As exciting as it sounds, the trailer had left people stunned! A new generation of the upper-class society with new legacies. When asked about their thoughts on the reboot, the fans said that although they are waiting to watch how the show will be, it cannot stand up to their expectations. Since people have already made a strong bond with the original show, it might be difficult for the new 'Gossip Girl' to meet the hope of the viewers.
